Day 8 - Tasmania

Where the city is - Hobart.

Early morning, we drove up to Mt Wellington, where you can see Hobart city and parts of the state on a clear day.

Amazingly, it is normally covered with snow but we didnt manage to catch any snow while we were there though it was very cold.

Wasn't too clear that day.

the lookout area

As it was Good Friday, many shops werent open. We just leisurely drove around. Was thinking whether to drive to the Tahune Airwalk but decided against it.

Very nice ginger beer

The mall is open. But the shops are close. Except for Cotton On and shops selling chocolates for last minute shoppers to buy their Easter Eggs and Rabbits.

Eating ice-cream again

Wanted to have dinner here but it was fully booked. Cos it was Good Friday and most of the Australians will take a seafood, no meat diet for 3 days.

Our takeaway oysters from Barilla Bay

Dinner for the night

Ended with this very sweet wine

Final day at Tasmania before flying to Sydney.... if only we had more time to explore. Well, maybe when I retire. Haha....
