Alrite.... Here's my post on my KL trip.

It was a 3D2N thingy. Went up by Transtar Coach - Premium (37 seater double-decker bus). Comes with a more spacious seat, massaging chair (I din really used it... very mild also) and a small lcd screen with a couple of channels (showing movies, cartoons, mtvs, documentaries etc. too bad, it wasn't video on-demand).

Me on the coach at early in the morning at 8.30am.

KL Trip 002

After a 5-hour ride (with some hiccups at the customs due to those Catholic High boys - yea, it's school holidays again..... how i envy them... ), we reached a new bus terminal called Pasar Rakyat Bus Terminal (apparently, it isn't that new as it was opened in 2002 but not many coaches use it as the alighting point till recently). Pretty near to Ritz Carlton Kuala Lumpur, the hotel we stayed in for the 2 nights.

KL Trip 005

Was automatically upgraded to an Executive Deluxe room when I only booked for a Deluxe room. It was awesome! Room is big - even bathroom is also big!!!! Service is good. With a personal butler whom we seldom use. Free complimentary drinks and snacks at the lounge at different times of the day. Free use of pool, sauna, jacuzzi (sadly, we didn't use, but we went to have a look at the facilities, and the outlook itself looks like that of a spa.... )

Realised that it is actually near Lot 10, the bukit bintang area, which is the shopping zone. We walked our way to Chinatown to have dinner. Through floods, as it was raining pretty heavily. Both Brian and I had a side drenched. Hahah.. But it was all worth it. The food in the aluminium was worth it!!!

2 out of the 3 dishes we ordered - La la (a type of shellfish), stingray and baby abalone. All in thick chilli gravy with long beans and lady's fingers.

KL Trip 013

Satisfied, we 'braved' through the rain again (luckily, it was as heavy) back to our hotel. Went to the lounge. To have our drinks. I had beer instead of red wine. Didn't really wana drink wine..... And the best, it's FOC aka complimentary.

Me relaxing on the lounge's couch.

KL Trip 018

Breakfast at Ritz was also good. A variety of local delights and western pastries. Best of all, they have this 'Ordered Hot from the Kitchen' where you can order for eggs, fried to your liking, with any sides that you want.

KL Trip 032

Brian's Egg Benedict with mushrooms and other sides. Yummy.

KL Trip 028

I only had an omelette. Boring huh...

KL Trip 029

The morning and early afternoon was spent at KLCC.

The twin towers (er.. correct???)

KL Trip 041

Lunch at A&W - you can't find this in Singapore anymore... I miss the waffle with ice cream and root beer float...

KL Trip 044

We decide to take their monorail back to our hotel area.

Find it kind of silly. We needed to change trains/monorail. And... and... the 2 stations were not linked. One got to get out of the station, walk a distance before reaching another station. Thought they could have a underground pass or something like our MRT line and NEL. But well... That's the difference, I guess.

But, because of the need to walk to another station, I managed to get to HRC KL. The only good thing about it. Hahahah...

KL Trip 056

Did not really buy alot. Instead, I ate alot. After we went came back from KLCC, and after resting our tired legs for a while, we went to have some congee and dimsum.

And we went to the famous Jalan Alor for dinner. Luckily, it wasn't raining.

KL Trip 065

BBQ chicken wings, fried mushrooms, fried penang kuay teow, oyster omelette.

Had our lunch at Planet Hollywood on Sunday. Something we can never find in Singapore anymore also.

While waiting for our food...
